I Open British School of Malaga in Chaparral Golf Club

I Open British School of Malaga

I Open British School of Malaga | School project | Chaparral Golf Club. A group of students from the British School of Malaga organised a Parent & Child competition in Chaparral Golf Club  on Saturday, February 8.

The competition was part of a school project and was played as a 9 hole Scramble Stableford with teams of two.  The Shotgun start took place at 3 pm after the players had registered and received a welcome speech from the staff of Chaparral.

The students were part of the team of Chaparral on the day, as to give them a first hand experience of what it´s like to work on these kind of events. After the tournament all players gathered in the Chaparral Restaurant Treetops for tapas, drinks and the prize giving.

Domingo Gavira, managing director of Chaparral, opened the price giving ceremony and gave word to the students who expressed their gratitude to the Club, the players and the sponsors. The students themselves continued the prize giving with trophies for the 3 best classified teams, longest drive, best dressed team and finally a draw with prizes for all players. All proceeds were destinatedto Cudeca.

Thank you to the students of the British School for the good work in organising this competition.

Congratulations to the best classified and thank you to all players for participating.
